Designing my Wallpaper in Photoshop + Theming my PC Lights

My first introduction to digital art was not photography, as many of you may think. It was graphic design in Adobe Photoshop 5.0 at the young age of 9. I used to enjoy regularly creating signature banners and avatars (both static and animated) for people who requested them on the forums I frequented. It had been a very long time since I worked on non-photography/video work and furthermore…for fun! So I really enjoyed creating a desktop wallpaper from scratch using Adobe Photoshop 2021 and then nerding out while matching the RGB lights in my computer to it using the software below:

  • NZXT CAM to display the wallpaper on the LED screen of my water cooler

  • CORSAIR iCue to sync my fans with a soft pink and blue dreamy effect

  • RGB Fusion 2.0 to customize the color of the fans on my GPU
