AZIO R.C.K. (Retro Compact Keyboard) in Elwood
Vintage Typewriters.
There’s just something romantic and nostalgic about them with their clicky sounding classic, round keys. I think the sound of vintage typewriters is a big reason why modern day mechanical keyboards are so appealing.
Considering this, it’s easy to see how AZIO Corp’s line of retro keyboards are so popular. Artfully designed and handcrafted, these keyboards are known mainly for two things: their fashionable, retro chic appearance and “clicky sounds.” The soft-but-punchy clicky keys can make even a mechanical-keyboard-hater curious.
I’d had my eye on AZIO’s R.C.K. line of keyboards (Retro Compact Keyboard) for a while and decided on the Elwood model (neutral medium-brown wood with a dull bronze/gunmetal accent) over the Artisan (black leather with rose gold accent). I am so happy I chose Elwood, because it’s such a classic, timeless color and style.
Aside from the obvious looks and sound, My Favorite Features are:
Seamless Bluetooth with ability to pair to 3 devices
Premium build quality
USB Charger
Easy to switch between Mac and PC mode
Comes with extra keycaps which are easy to change
Backlight, adjustable
Palm rest, dust bag, and dust brush are all included
AZIO has other peripherals on their website too such as mice and earphones, but they are definitely known for their lux keyboards. I highly recommend them and also suggest you purchase directly from their website; you risk getting a counterfeit product when buying from a third party seller (yes, this happened to me).
